Hello, welcome to
the Linux Is Freedom Endeavor.
The goal of this foundation is to lead home users to Linux. It is the belief of the founders that many home users do not use Linux because it's existence has been cleverly hidden from them. We intend to show them the difference. We intend to show them that there is an Operating System that is both universal and stable. We intend to show them that they can use office applications, play games, surf the web and a thousand other things with their home PC without ever seeing a "Blue Screen of Death".


The founders of the Linux Is Freedom Endeavor have commited to the following goals:

  1. Focus on New Users.

  2. Provide services to ISPs and New Users free of charge.

  3. Provide custom made tutorial documents for ISPs and New Users

  4. Provide chat and email based technical support to ISPs and  New Users

  5. Provide technical support in the pursuit of migrating New Users to Linux to the very best of our ability.

  6. Make strategic alliances with other organizations to further the cause of increasing the Linux home user marketshare.

  7. All tutorial documents will be licensed under the GPL.
Definitions:
"New User" is a home user who new to Linux. "ISP" is an internet service provider. "Tutorial documents" are documents shared with other parties that are licensed under the GPL.

I have been getting several requests for information and links relating to a movement called Falun Gong.  These request are coming from Chinese websites.  In order to help the persecuted, I put up a page of links.

Our policy on spam and spammers


We and our users or anyone possessing an email address on freelink.cx do not buy anything advertised by spam.  In fact, we HATE spam and spammers.  In fact, we are known within the spammer community as "antis".  This meeans that we do all we can to cost spammers money, get their websites and internet accounts shut down, get spammers put in prison, etc.  In doing this, we understand that we will be subjected to distributed denial of service attacks, Joe Job attacks, and breakin attempts.  We also understand that when these attacks do occur, this website will be taken temporaily offline.   If you are a spammer seeking revenge against us for causing you inconvenience, keep in mind that we control the DNS records for freelink.cx and that as a matter of policy no account user (including administrators) are allowed to use freelink email addresses for any kind of account verification.   This means that we can redirect our DNS records to point to other domains that you would rather not attack or DDOS.   If you as a spammer wish to deny us the use of our property, then we will make it very painful for you to do so.  If you are one of the hundreds of spammers who have had your account terminated because of actions taken by us, just take it as a lesson learned and don't spam us again.  We do not go out of our way to look for trouble, but we are willing to fight to keep our inboxes clean of unwanted pitches.  Don't spam us, and we will not be any trouble to you.
